The Client: a large British banking group with a contractor-heavy team of Java developers and ScrumMasters.
The Approach: our client’s challenge was to find people interested in permanent work with very strong Agile experience with varying degrees of technical knowledge as Java developers and ScrumMasters in a contractor-focused market. We were engaged to find twenty-four Agile Java developers with TDD and pair programming experience and five ScrumMasters with transformation project experience. This was a completely new area of the business that we had never worked with before.
The Outcome: we led the way with the highest number of placements of all the agencies engaged on the project placing one Agile ScrumMaster and four Java developers. Our client was able to convert several existing contractors to permanent employees and half the vacancies were put on hold with a view to re-open once the initial batch of new starters had settled in. The project was so successful that we were then invited to join the panel of recruiters for a campaign to hire a further forty-two Agile project managers and business analysts for the digital program.
